Directions to Skyhorse Ranch
If you are flying in we recommend that you fly into Oakland, San Francisco(SFO) or Sacramento Airports.
Approximate driving time from San Francisco, Oakland or Sacramento is 1.5
hours. We are approximately 19 miles from Hwy 101 at Petaluma and 10 minutes
before Bodega Bay heading north/west on Hwy 1. We are 1 mile before the town
of Valley Ford on Hwy 1 in Sonoma County.
For bus transportation from both SFO and Oakland Airports to Petaluma you
can contact: www.airportexpressinc.com
Grocery Shopping: If you are coming from Hwy 101, about 3 blocks after turning off
of hwy 101 there is a Whole Foods on your right. Or shop in Valley Ford or Sebastopol.
A taxi ride is required from Petaluma if you do not have your own car. There
is no public transportation between Petaluma and Valley Ford or Bodega Bay.
In case you get lost the Valley Ford Market is very helpful in assisting
travelers with directions.

Weather at Valley Ford:
Coastal, and therefore unpredictable. It can be cool and foggy, or very warm in the afternoon. Suggested attire includes jeans, boots (with good ankle support), a sweater and/or jacket. Be sure to bring bottled water to keep yourself hydrated.
